I decided to write a big post about ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, or those weird videos with strange sounds and actions that get millions of views on YouTybe and TikTok.
So what is ASMR (a bit of a wiki)?
“Autonomic sensory meridian response (ASMR): A sensory phenomenon that occurs in response to low volume audio stimuli that includes a tingling sensation in the scalp and sometimes the neck or back along the spine, along with a terrace-like state of deep relaxation.”
Personally, this shit doesn’t work for me, but people who experience ASMR (there are about 20% of them) say they feel goosebumps on their heads and bodies, or so-called “brain orgasms.” Many people say that asmr videos help them fall asleep. When I fall asleep to content and it’s too quiet, I can’t fall asleep. Because I have to concentrate on making sense of information that I can barely hear.
YouTube and other networks are flooded with ASMR videos, so here’s my selection of the top 10 weirdest ASMR videos I came across when I was making a strategy for a massage channel (the niches are very related):

2.A top channel that I saw many years ago and wondered what the hell it was. Back then, it was not so popular in our country. I would describe it as a sexual absorption of sweets. Personally, I like the covers on the videos, they are really creative and colorful.
1. Perhaps the most meditative and calm video I’ve ever seen about brewing tea. But there is some more useful information that makes this channel stand out for me. Although what I’m writing is the first video I’ve ever seen of tea brewing.
As a result, the niche is really strange, often going beyond the boundaries of fetishism or common sense. The girl who chews and eats large octopuses is worth a lot.
But if someone likes it and it really has hundreds of millions of views per month, why not? It was a difficult top for me, because there are a lot of really strange videos that are even hard to describe, but I wanted to add some shock content to the selection.
